East Africa Workshop Logos

Countries in Africa experience high levels of air pollution as well as significant health impacts from both outdoor and household air pollution. As public and governmental interest in the topic grows, so does demand for data and evidence on air pollution levels, trends, and related health effects.

HEI, in partnership with the Stockholm Environment Institute – Africa Centre (SEI Africa), World Resources Institute (WRI Africa), Eastern Africa GEO Health Hub (Kenya) and AirQo, will host a workshop on “Air Pollution and Health in East Africa” in Nairobi, Kenya at the Sarova Panafric Hotel from Wednesday, March 29 – Friday, March 31.

The free online workshop will be a great opportunity to hear from air pollution experts from across East Africa, with a particular focus on air pollution and health in Kenya and Uganda.
